August 23, 2025 - Meet to Plan - PRL is Born!

After that first initial phone call where I was "Bat Crap Crazy," Lisa and I just couldn't get the idea out of our minds we were supposed to be doing something more. So, we decided to meet for an overnight visit to see if this was really something we were supposed to be doing or just a case of me being an angry parent over a phone call (which I never got a response to again!).

Lisa and I met and spent the night at a beautiful little Airbnb called Otter's Den at Piney Creek, NC. It was a quiet little place on a country road, where she and I had a long and prayerful time.

We overwhelming felt that God truly wanted us to move forward with creating a business to help teachers and educators develop their parental/community relationships, continue to increase their educational motivation, and add to their levels of learning they already possess. Lisa has over over 25 years in elementary education, with a focus on reading, and is currently obtaining her national board certification. I have been in secondary education for over 25 years, taught at community college and university levels, substituted in middle schools, and worked with ESL students at various levels, and have a master's degree in instructional technology. We are both parents and grandparents. Surely, we have something to offer teachers, substitutes, administrators and others who are currently working with K-College students who are ready to increase their levels of interaction with the student population??

After much prayerful deliberation and working all weekend, PRL Educator Solutions, LLC. was formed! Lisa and I have no idea where we are going, but we certainly know who is leading us! We are so excited to be on this journey and the doors that will be opened on this new adventure!
