Nov. 2, 2025 - Seed Money

Moving forward small baby steps, as my husband so cautiously reminded me, we were going to need "seed money" for our new business. Lisa and I were able to come up with a small amount to put in to begin our business. Neither of us are wealthy or have thousands just lying around doing nothing, so for us to come up with a great deal of extra money to start a new business is a lot for both of us--again, out on faith!

We met in Banner Elk, NC, at the Peddlin' Pig restaurant on Nov. 2nd over dinner to discuss where we would like to find a financial institution to make our initial deposit, something that would be convenient for both her and myself (her living in Marion, NC, and me living in West Jefferson, NC).

We decided to go with Wells Fargo for convenience and a business account. We are excited about another step moving forward!
