I went to Marion, NC, to meet Lisa at Wells Fargo to set up our account and make our first deposit. What an exciting time! It was 3:00 p.m. A lovely young lady began helping us. We had lots of questions and paperwork to complete. We had completed our Articles of Organization and our Operating Agreement. We thought we were ready to go!

We did not realize we needed an EIN number! We didn't even know what one was! Thankfully, we were able to get on our phone and complete that very quickly with the IRS, although neither Lisa nor myself took our glasses in, so we couldn't see very well. I could see better than she could, so I took over the phone task. Thankfully, we accomplished that pretty quickly, and we moved through this process onto the next step.

Then, the bank completed their items, which kept going and going and going. My husband was waiting out in the car for me and thought I had become lost, literally at 5:10 p.m. when they shut the doors and he sent me a text that said, "ARE YOU OK? STILL IN THERE??"

Finally, we were able to make our first deposit into our PRL business account. The janitors let us out. Lisa and I were very happy we had survived this baby step!
